Tyler Sizemore

Tyler Sizemore is a staff photographer and interim video editor with Hearst Connecticut Media Group, contributing to more than a dozen daily and weekly publications across the state. Throughout his career he's covered many national news stories including the Jerry Sandusky child sexual abuse scandal, the aftermath of the Sandy Hook school shooting, Hurricane Sandy, the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alex Jones trial, and the Jennifer Dulos disappearance and subsequent trials. His work has been recognized by the Society of Professional Journalists and National Press Photographers Association and has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, and other major publications. He loves photographing UConn basketball, high school sports championships, concerts or anything with his drone. When he's not working, you can catch him playing in New York City dart tournaments or traveling to Maine for a long weekend on the pond. He lives in East Harlem with his wife, Sarah, dog, Buddy, and chinchilla, Ebenezer.
